The exhibition of Benoit and Xi Bo between photography and painting is proposed by MOA Gallery located in the Heyri Art Valley nearby Paju in the district of Gyeonggi in Southern Korea. The artists love to reach the common aim of guiding the public in a chromatic trip inside the old scenery of man and toward a relaxed dimension. The French Benoit and the Chinese Xi Bo create a common space where they combine their different expressiveness to a poetic unicum to follow in Gilbert and George’s footsteps. These artists have expressed their need to propose an art able to break into the tangle of London life since 1970. Benoit & Bo show a series of paintings entitled: Human Body/Landscape. Their works take inspiration from Chinese traditional acupuncture illustrations. The pieces are meeting point of French and Chinese culture. They represent the possibility of a dialogue between European and Eastern Aesthetics. They create a new vision of the world, more hybrid, more contemporary mixing their two origins starting from the centrality of creation act with a pleasure for the chromatism.
They showed their works in Paris where they lived until 2007. Since then they moved in Orient.
