The Manifesto Brut & Acrodacrolivres present an exhibition of Mail Art “Pollination” as part of the London Biennale whose director and founder is David Medalla.
This year, the London Biennale will begin on May 1st at 6pm in Soho Square.

Considering the friendship, which binds me to the director of the London Biennale and as co-founder of the Manifesto Brut with Michael Beauvent and sharing the principles of freedom, collaboration, universality, diffusion of information, and communication, we have the honor to participate at this event with an exhibition of mail art.

The Mail-Art is an experience of conceptual and comportamental art developed in the 60s the promoter was the American Ray Johnson from the Fluxus movement, an international art movement founded by the Lithuanian George Maciunas and embraces all the different artistic expressions.

Many artists have joined this movement as Allan Kaprow, Robert Raushemberg, Christo, La Monte Young, Robert Watts, the Japanese group Goutai, the group of visual poetry and many others.

The most fascinating part of the Mail-Art, with the exception of the gratuity and the not request for a response, is the desire to communicate their thoughts, ideas, feelings, fears and joys with friends and strangers from the entire planet.

In short, an art far from ruthless haggling of an exigent supermarket. Not submitted to the pressures of a conditioning created by artistic canons imposed by a history of art and written by historians and art critics which in classifying it, distort the soul and the sense of it.

The Mail art is a great lesson of democracy, everyone can participate, and all the artworks exhibited.

Non-discrimination is typical of Mail Art, principle, founded in the thought of the Manifesto Brut also.

Approximately seventy international artists with more than one hundred and fifty works of art will be participating in this special event held in the space of the artistic and literary center Acrodacrolivres 21 Rue du Tienne 1495 Tilly (Villers-la-Ville) Belgium.

The Manifesto Brut is a movement out of the system, an alternative in the world of art and its current market.

“Pollination”, sono degli eventi artistici collaterali che si svolgono in diversi luoghi ma legati alle attività della London Biennale di cui David Madalla è il direttore e fondatore. Quest’anno avrà inizio il primo maggio alle ore 18.00 a Soho Square in London.

Considerando il legame personale che mi lega al direttore della London Biennale e come cofondatore insieme a Michaël Beauvent del Manifesto Brut, condividendone i principi di libertà, di condivisione, di collaborazione, di universalità e di diffusione dell’informazione e della comunicazione, abbiamo l’onore di partecipare a questo evento con una esposizione di Mail-Art.

La Mail-Art, un’esperienza di arte comportamentale e concettuale sviluppatasi durante gli anni 60 di cui fu promotore l’americano Ray Johnson proveniente dal movimento FLUXUS, movimento d’arte internazionale creato dall’artista lituano George Maciunas e che abbraccia tutte le varie espressioni artistiche.

Molti artisti, aderirono a questo movimento come Allan Kaprow, Robert Raushemberg, Christo, La Monte Young, Robert Watts, il gruppo giapponese Gutai, il gruppo della Poesia Visiva e molti altri.

La parte più affascinante della Mail –Art, a parte la gratuità e di non pretendere una risposta, è la volontà di comunicare i propri pensieri, le proprie idee, le proprie emozioni, le proprie paure e gioie con amici e sconosciuti dell’intero pianeta.
Un’arte insomma lontana dalla mercificazione spietata di un mercato super esigente, non sottoposta alle pressioni di canoni artistici condizionanti imposti da una storia dell’arte redatta da critici e storici che nel classificarla, ne stravolgono l’anima ed il senso.

La Mail Art è un grande insegnamento di democrazia, tutti possono partecipare e tutte le opere vengono esposte.

La non discriminazione è propria della Mail Art, principio, che si riscontra anche nel Manifesto Brut.

Circa settanta artisti internazionali con più di centocinquanta opere parteciperanno a questo particolare evento che si terrà nei locali di Acrodacrolivres centro artistico e letterario al 21 Rue du Tienne 1495 Tilly (Villers-la-Ville) Belgio.

Il Manifesto Brut è un movimento fuori sistema, alternativo al mondo dell’arte e al suo mercato attuale

Le Manifesto Brut & Acrodacrolivres présentent une exposition de Mail Art “Pollination” dans le cadre de la Biennale de Londres dont le directeur et le fondateur est David Medalla.

Considérant le lien personnel qui me lie au directeur de la Biennalede Londres et comme co-fondateur du Manifesto Brut avec Michaël Beauvent, dont nous partageons les principes de liberté, le partage, la collaboration, l’universalité, la diffusion del’information et de la communication, nous avons l’honneur de participerà cet événement avec une exposition de mail-art.

La Mail-Art, est une expérience d’art comportementale et conceptuelle développé pendant les années 60 dont le promoteur était l’américain Ray Johnson du mouvement Fluxus, un mouvement d’art international créé par le lituanien George Maciunas et qui embrasse tous les différentes expressions artistiques.

Beaucoup d’artistes, se sont joints à ce mouvement comme Allan Kaprow, Robert Raushemberg, Christo, La Monte Young, Robert Watts, le groupe japonais Goutai, le groupe de la poésie visuelle et bien d’autres.

La partie la plus fascinante de la Mail-Art, à l’exception de la gratuité et de la non requête d’une réponse, c’est le désir de communiquer leurs pensées, leurs idées, leurs émotions, leurs craintes et leurs joies avec des amis et des étrangers de la planète toute entière.

En bref, un art loin du marchandage impitoyable d’un supermarché exigeant, non soumis aux pressions des canons artistiques conditionnant, imposés par une histoire écrite par des historiens et des critiques qui en la classant, ils faussent l’âme et le sens.

La Mail art est une grande leçon de démocratie, tout le monde peut participer et toutes les œuvres sont exposées.

Environ septante artistes internationaux avec plus de centcinquante œuvres participeront à cet événement spécial qui se tiendra dans les locaux du centre artistique et littéraire Acrodacrolivres 21 Rue du Tienne 1495 Tilly (Villers-la-Ville) Belgique.

Le Manifesto Brut est un mouvement hors du système, une alternative dans le monde de l’art et de son marché actuel.
